Your Priorities: Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who responded to our Priorities Survey.

This feedback has informed the line-up of large and small events we plan to produce in 2026, including our 30x30 and Beyond National Symposium in July.

We are pleased to share the top-line survey results.

The majority of respondents want us to prioritise Area-based conservation and the effective and equitable delivery of Target 3 of the Global Biodiversity Framework - Conserving 30% of Land, Waters and Seas by 2030.

Other emerging priorities include:

  • The nexus of nature and climate change

  • Indigenous leadership and knowledge

  • Conservation sector development

  • Learning about and joining: IUCN & ACIUCN working groups and taskforces

If you are yet to share your priorities, please email director@aciucn.org.au anytime.

We deeply appreciate your input and look forward to addressing priority topics in collaboration with our network.
