The ACIUCN would like to invite our members, associates, and friends to an online webinar on the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.

The webinar will be held on the 24th of October 2022 from 2pm- 3:30pm (AEDT)

The webinar provides an opportunity to hear from government, scientists and conservationists on some of the pressing issues and priorities in the countdown to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15).

· Alison McMorrow, Assistant Secretary Biodiversity Conservation Division (DCEEW)

· James Watson, Professor of Conservation Science at the University of Queensland

· Sam Vine, Head of Conservation and Science, Birdlife Australia

The webinar will build on two previous ACIUCN Initiatives including:

1. Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework Workshop (Nov 2021)

2. Starting the conversation on Australia’s priorities for the Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework workshop (March 2019)
